Adrenal venous sampling (AVS) is the recommended procedure for the diagnosis of primary aldosteronism in secondary hypertension¹. It involves the sampling of bilateral adrenal venous blood via catheterization. This renovated illustration will be published alongside the 2022 Taiwan guideline for primary aldosteronism.
